We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join our team in London (hybrid working) on a fixed term contract.
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team and lead the development and implementation of our compliance framework for our Rebate Outsourcing and Distribution Channel Management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of European regulators and regulations, as well as experience with AML and KYC requirements.
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for conducting risk assessments on Asset Managers (AMs) and distributors, as well as conducting initial and ongoing due diligence to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Your key responsibilities as a Compliance Officer will be to:
- Develop and implement a compliance framework for our Rebate Outsourcing and Distribution Channel Management services, ensuring that it is in line with relevant laws and regulations, including European regulators and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments on AMs and distributors, identifying and mitigating risks related to anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and other compliance requirements
- Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence on AMs and distributors, ensuring that they meet our compliance requirements and that we have adequate controls in place to manage risks
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of our compliance requirements and that they understand their responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including AML and KYC requirements, and report any issues or concerns to senior management
- Review and update policies and procedures to ensure that they reflect changes in laws and regulations and industry best practices
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our compliance framework meets their needs while also mitigating risks
To join us as a Compliance Officer you will need the following experience and skills:
- You must have solid experience in compliance, specifically in AML and KYC requirements
- You must have a strong knowledge of European regulators and regulations
- You will ideally have experience in asset management or financial services
- You will have experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies and procedures
- You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- You will be detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality
