What you’ll do
You'll produce designs for our most complex opportunities consisting of multiple towers and/or multiple products. This will include reviewing the solution designs developed by Solution Architects and providing peer reviews to the various design teams involved in creating a customer solution design with the objective that solutions are designed, costed and documented in line with customer requirements and Contract.
You will typically collaborate in a cross-functional and virtual team with Programme and Project Managers and representing all Vodafone ITIL Functions within this virtual Team in the creation of key Customer facing Operations material the Customer has procured from Vodafone. This includes Low Level service designs and Operations Manuals covering very element of activity and support we have committed to providing to each customer during our non standard, deal governance assessments. The production of all these artefacts requires the designer to also work outside the Vodafone Business Teams and directly interface with the Customer, and all 3rd party suppliers involved in the creation and delivery of each Solution.
Our solutions serve both private sector and public sector clients and therefore you will have experience of the procurement frameworks and processes associated with both. Awareness and experience of public sector procurement via OJEU and UK Government Frameworks is expected, in addition to having an understanding of the required support models across both Framework and Private sector opportunities.
You'll also be:
Customer Ops Manual (COM) – Responsible for production and handover into BAU
Attending pre and post Sales Design workshops and represent the Vodafone ITIL Stakeholders.
Reviewing Customer Contracts and Requirements documentation to identify gaps and conflicts. This will ensure Contractual Support Compliance.
This is a Customer facing role, you will be required to schedule, attend and in some instances chair workshops to internally and externally related to Service Design.
Creating reference service architecture & design models for future opportunities
Reviewing Service requirements and assessing against standard, optional and bespoke offerings
You'll:
Understand and have experience in ITIL
Have experience in creating and writing Operational Processes
Have the ability to present to internal stakeholders and to customer contacts up to senior management levels
Have excellent Interpersonal skills and teamwork with ability to work in multinational teams.
Analytical and critical thinking, detail- oriented, operates with precision
Have an ability to both influence, and show resolve under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure solution designs are deliverable
Understand the Fixed Product and Support processes
Experience of working on Major Projects and Programmes.
