We are looking for a Compliance Video Editor; do you want to join the team? In this role you will work across various clients providing compliance, versioning, and full edit services to produce assets to a variety of specifications and requirements. You may also be expected to fully QC media, provide important feedback and engage in video, audio and graphics work as required. Work is usually performed in planned shifts, also during unsociable hours.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for QC and compliance editing for multiple clients.
- Complete PSE checks and fixes on material.
- Edit according to EDL and the channel’s technical specifications.
- Entering IDs and time codes on final delivery.
- Work closely with the Media Services and VOD teams, as well as the customer.
- Completing edit jobs, check all material on audio/video failures and make adjustment.
- Ability to handle time in case of strict deadlines.
- Make quality controls adjustments on aspect ratio/color.
- Handle edit tools and execute reset procedures for continuous equipment stability
Key Qualifications:
- Education: (Recruiter to supply educational requirements)
- Min years of experience: 5 years’ experience in a Post Production environment, 2 years in Compliance editing.
- Domain experience: (Recruiter to supply area of expertise – e.g.: Cloud, BSS, OSS etc.)
- Audio/Visual production skills
- Customer insight
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations

- You have experience with service delivery process models and strategy
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
- Excellent working knowledge of Avid and Avid Interplay systems
- Experience of file based editing and workflows
- Experience and knowledge of Ofcom Compliance requirements
- Knowledge of DPP delivery specifications
- Excellent housekeeping skills
- Ability to work alone, and in a team
- Self-motivators
