About the Role…
Our Legal Team is expanding and we have a new role available for an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join us! As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will develop and implement compliance programs, conduct audits, and provide guidance to employees at all levels. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor changes in regulations and ensure the company's compliance practices are up to date.
Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
Investigate and respond to compliance issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay informed about best practices and changes in the regulatory landscape.
Conduct internal investigations as necessary, ensuring prompt and thorough resolution of compliance issues.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance programs, identify areas of improvement, and propose corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in compliance practices and proactively recommend adjustments to policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Compliance Manager or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as data protection, anti-corruption, and financial services regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to practical situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) are desirable.
Experience with compliance software and tools is a plus.
