Compliance Officer

Barclay Simpson are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join the London office of a globally renowned real estate asset manager. This is a truly amazing opportunity to join a company with a large global presence and that operates across a number of different jurisdictions and yet still be in an environment where one can affect change and be a highly visible part of the business. This is effectively a standalone compliance role working alongside the legal function and reporting into a highly experienced COO.

The role responsibilities are generalist in nature and you will be the point of contact for all compliance queries in the business. You will be required to carry out a hands on compliance role but will also be at the forefront of leading the strategy for compliance in a growing UK asset management business.

You will come from another asset manager and you will have ambitions to take on SMF16 and SMF17 or already have held them. In this role there is the opportunity to take on SMF16/17 straight away or progress towards that. You will have hands on, generalist compliance experience.
