About the role
The Compliance Analyst will report to the Head of Group Compliance on a daily basis. They will be responsible for:
- Carrying out, improving and maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Being a primary point of contact for the business to assist with all business requests.
- Carrying out procedures to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Assisting with designing controls to ensure compliance for each individual business unit.
- Disseminating new regulations and guidance, interpreting this information and assessing the potential compliance impact on the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the implementation and improving of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Implementing, designing and improving the firm's policies and procedures.
- Carrying out new counterparty onboarding.
- Assisting with maintaining relationships with regulators, exchanges and other third parties.
- Carrying out the submission of regulatory reports and filings.
- Analysing regulatory change and new business initiatives, providing advice as appropriate.
- Monitoring for future regulatory developments.
- Creating and delivering management information reports.
- Provide day-to-day support to front office and back office functions.
- Designing and delivering training.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in designing, improving and carrying out of compliance monitoring, onboarding and policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the wider financial markets.
- Contextual knowledge of the regulatory landscape and existing/future regulations.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Responsible, self-sufficient team player.
