About the role

The Compliance Analyst will report to the Head of Group Compliance on a daily basis. They will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out, improving and maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Being a primary point of contact for the business to assist with all business requests.
  • Carrying out procedures to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
  • Assisting with designing controls to ensure compliance for each individual business unit.
  • Disseminating new regulations and guidance, interpreting this information and assessing the potential compliance impact on the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the implementation and improving of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Implementing, designing and improving the firm's policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out new counterparty onboarding.
  • Assisting with maintaining relationships with regulators, exchanges and other third parties.
  • Carrying out the submission of regulatory reports and filings.
  • Analysing regulatory change and new business initiatives, providing advice as appropriate.
  • Monitoring for future regulatory developments.
  • Creating and delivering management information reports.
  • Provide day-to-day support to front office and back office functions.
  • Designing and delivering training.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in designing, improving and carrying out of compliance monitoring, onboarding and policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the wider financial markets.
  • Contextual knowledge of the regulatory landscape and existing/future regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Responsible, self-sufficient team player.
  • Solutions oriented.
