Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented compliance officer to join our energetic team, work with sellers to ensure compliance and manage risk, help to strengthen our position as a market leader and empower in-game creators to build a new profession.

As a compliance specialist, you will be responsible for working with sellers to ensure their web presence and products satisfy our compliance requirements. This role involves communicating effectively with sellers to understand their use of the platform and to recommend solutions to meet their needs, as well as reviewing new and updated stores to ensure they meet both ours and our payment partner’s requirements while applying a contextual understanding of how UGC in gaming impacts payment risk.


Requirements:
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK
  • 1+ year of experience in payments and customer-facing roles
  • Passion for PC / Console gaming
  • High standards & attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Openness to feedback and ideas
  • Problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Review new and updated web stores to ensure our compliance requirements are met
  • Respond to compliance-related inquiries from sellers through our support system
  • Identify ways for sellers to meet their needs without compromising compliance or risk requirements.
  • Identify and highlight new trends in compliance and risk-related matters
  • Provide cross-team support to other departments that need compliance and risk input
