About the Role
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.
Salary: £37,600 - £56,400 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
- Represent Clients on Walkdowns of systems ensuring Contractors are adhering to project specifications and procedures.
- Ensure Mechanical Completion packages are created, feeding into commissioning packages, each containing relevant check records that will be completed, signed and verified by company.
- Follow up with contractor’s installation activities monitoring progress and achievement of target delivery dates based on commissioning plan/priorities in preparation for issue of RFCC, as formal handover from Mechanical Completions to Commissioning.
- Guide Packages through Handover process to Operations liaising with Doc Control and controlling Life Cycle Information delivery from Contractors.
- Manage package completion and punch through Completions Management System (ProCoSys).
What do I need?
To be successful, we would love you to have:
- Qualified to at least HNC level in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical or mechanical.
- A background encompassing exposure to high voltage safe systems of work (SSOW) and/or high voltage safety rules would be very advantageous, however training and authorisation can be provided.
- Experience working within an operational engineering capacity of offshore wind construction, substation construction or Oil & Gas preferred.
- You’ll be expected to become an expert on selected IT platforms, especially Completions Management Systems, therefore you must have a good level of IT literacy and be familiar with the core MS Office applications.
- Vocational background to be able to undertake inspections and walkdowns.
