Our fun loving client is looking for a companion to help keep him occupied during the day while his wife works. He has a wonderful sense of humour but feels isolated and unproductive.
Having moved into the area three years ago for work he no longer has a network of friends or family to fall back on.
Our client requires a Support Worker for:
Saturdays 10am-2pm

Tasks and key responsibilities
- Adhere to the agreed companionship journal plan
- Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliability
- Supporting clients in completing everyday tasks and activities (meeting up with friends, shopping, cooking, cleaning, banking, appointments, visiting relatives, attending groups, daytrips out)
- Report any improvements that can be made to clients’ services
- Carry out and remain up to date with all training
- Be compliant with all policies and or procedures

- Owns a car and possesses a full driving licence, insured for business use – evidence will be

- Clean DBS check (provided free of charge)
Desirable criteria
- Awareness of Health and Social Care/Health best practice
- First aider
