Creative Support is a not-for-profit provider of care and support to people with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and older people.
We are recruiting Community Support Workers in Northampton to provide support to people with learning disabilities in their own home, to ensure people lead engaging and fulfilling lives, supporting people to develop life skills and connecting people to their communities, this includes all elements of social care and support. We are looking for individuals who can motivate and enthuse, promote good practice, work on their own initiative and as part of a team, provide a positive role model, see things through to completion and foster a culture in which potential is recognised, independence promoted and achievements celebrated.
We can discuss full (37.5 hours per week) and part time (minimum 15 per week) flexible shift patterns upon interview to suit both your needs and those of our service.

Although previous experience in a similar role to Support Worker is advantageous, we would like to encourage the people with the right values and passion to apply and work to make a difference.Full training will be offered; however, a relevant qualification (such as a Health & Social Care Diploma or degree in psychology) or some relevant transferable skills and life skills would be desirable.
