Our support workers are very person centred in their delivery of care which makes our service extremely flexible and adaptable to each individual’s requirements, this then allows our Support Workers to choose their own rota times and days to fit around their daily lives and also allows support to be person centred around about the people we support. We support a diverse group of individuals to live an independent life with support in various aspects of daily life and enable them to live well at home and to also be a part of their community.
We support Carers to have some well-deserved respite. We support older adults in the community to access community groups, go for a coffee and a chat or enjoy a trip to the shop or cinema. We also support some adults with additional support needs. We support each person exactly as they wish to be supported and we are proud to build meaningful relationships with the individuals we support enabling them to meet their chosen outcomes.
Hours of work can be extremely flexible to meet the outcomes of the people being supported and we are able to offer our staff flexible working hours to support with work/life balance. We work in small supportive teams and our staff wellbeing is highly important to us as a team.
There is an opportunity to live and work in the same areas meaning accessing public transport or walking is an option. For working further from home a car is a good option.
A PVG is required for this role.
