We are Manchester Local Care Organisation - an exciting, new public sector organisation that is bringing together NHS community health services and social care services in the city. There are 6 permanent positions, for enthusiastic and forward-thinking Community Nursery Nurses to join the dynamic and friendly teams of health visitors in Manchester. AnNNEB or NVQ Child Care Level 3 Qualification or CACHE level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce is required.

As part of the Early Help agenda you will be committed to supporting the team in delivering the Healthy Child Programme – high quality health promotion, screening and prevention to children under the age of 5 years.

We are looking for flexible, motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can communicate effectively, and are able to work independently as well as part of a team. Travel across bases within Manchester is expected to deliver packages of care in private homes, health centres and children’s centres according to the needs of the Service.

Due to service changes as a result of Covid-19 you may be expected to work between home and the office base, as well as delivering care in these aforementioned locations.

You will be given opportunities for training, development, supervision and support. Previous Community experience would be an advantage.
