About Sleeping Giant:
Established in 2019, Sleeping Giant is the collaboration of Snowman and OddBird Studio. Snowman has received critical acclaim from the award-winning mobile game, Alto’s Odyssey, and is considered a giant in the mobile industry. OddBird Studio is a creative development studio which has worked on games such as Monster Prom and Quench, and Arrow Heads.
Sleeping Giant is focused on creating fun, stylish, and satisfying experiences that are suitable for the entire family. Having released our first game Farm Punks, in 2019, our team is now deep into our next exciting project, Par for the Dungeon.
Community Manager
Responsibilities:
- Create a marketing and community building strategy for the release and management of Par for the Dungeon.
- Grow and manage the Sleeping Giant community.
- Gather and study platform analytics to plan and adapt community growth.
- Prepare monthly content calendars for our social platforms. Prepare thoughtful, scheduled posts to ensure a steady flow of content for the community and our marketing initiatives.
- Plan and develop branding communications, advertising, and promotional programs.
- Be a welcoming voice across all platforms and storefronts.
- Develop and moderate community guidelines.
- Report issues across the platforms as needed; connecting with the correct teams to resolve matters.
- Guide the creation and narrative of marketing assets such as trailers, screenshots, gifs, etc.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure marketing timelines are reached successfully.
Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in marketing in the game industry
- Experience managing an online community, across multiple social platforms.
- Expert familiarity with one or more major social media platforms. Comfort and experience with the majority of the primary social media platforms.
- Experience developing and acting on marketing beats.
- Strong critical thinking, and ability to use analytics to inform strategies around content and engagement.
- Knowledge of current trends in the gaming industry
- Intermediate skills with Photoshop, Premiere, or other image and video editing software
- Strong written and oral communication
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- A passion for video games
- Compassion for others

Salary: $33,496.07-$76,466.51 per year
