Job description
Are you committed to making a difference to the lives of young people? Do you like to work in dynamic teams and environments, where no two days are the same? OnSide are looking for passionate individuals like you to help shape two of our exciting new Youth Zone projects – in Crewe and Preston.
There are fourteen open Youth Zones across the country and we’re currently developing another eight. Whenever we build a new Youth Zone, young people really do get to have their say. From involvement in recruiting the CEO to creating the new Youth Zone name and brand, our Young People’s Development Groups are key stakeholders and, quite rightly, our VIPs! We are looking for skilled youth workers to help a wide range of young people thrive on this journey.
These are part-time, fixed term roles that we hope will suit someone already working as a sessional youth worker or could even fit alongside other part time work. While these roles will be rooted in Crewe or Preston, we want to build connections, so there are plenty of planned opportunities to work with young people, communities, and colleagues in other areas – in fact potentially right across the network.
This role will be right for you if you’re passionate about making a diverse range of young people’s voices heard. You’ll love working in a flexible young-people-led way and you’re probably the kind of person who is always ready for a new adventure! If this is you, then we look forward to receiving your application! All the information about the role is in the attached document; send your CV and cover letter to [email protected]
