Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will develop strong working relationships with external bodies such as local schools and charities to discover where John Lewis & Partners can make a difference in the community.
You will be passionate about the Partnership ethos and want to foster this spirit to promote the Partnership in branch and in the local community. You’ll be proactive, self-sufficient and openly seek opportunities to promote the difference the Partnership can make to both Partners and customers.
Job Requirements:
This is an operational role in which the Partner will need to gain a clear vision from Partners and Management of what the branch should achieve through its community activity in support of delivering the Retail Operating plan. You will engage Partners across the branch to volunteer and make a contribution to the community, both through financial help and time giving. You will also need to work in partnership with local media outlets to develop the John Lewis Brand reputation within the branch's catchment.
The role will appeal to someone who enjoys planning and organising, is a strong communicator and has good attention to detail.
