Job description
RASASC is a leading provider of support for people who have experienced sexual violence and we are looking to recruit a community and groups worker who is committed to working within this field and who wants to make a difference to the lives of those affected by trauma.
We have been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to offer a range of activity-based programmes to our service users in Cheshire for example walking groups, creative writing, yoga, and mindfulness.
If you think you could undertake the following tasks we would really like to hear from you.
· Case manage and co-ordinate personalised support to individuals on their pathway to wellbeing, recovery and social inclusion, building trusting and collaborative relationships
· Arrange and facilitate a range of group activities for example creative writing, gardening group and walking groups across Cheshire.
· Promote the project so that survivors from hard-to-reach groups are informed of the opportunities available to them.
You will be able to support people who use the service to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources/interventions
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 60 months
Salary: £25,000.00 per year
