You will be the main point of contact for people - building relationships with them, whilst also leading on the administrative and logistical responsibilities of our community. Working with our Partnerships team, you will also be coordinating our Vine members into engagements to deliver Force of Nature services (like public speaking, consulting decision-makers, and facilitating programmes).
Are you someone who:
- Enjoys communicating with people and learning about them?
- Is good at holding many tasks in your head at once?
- Loves to manage projects with processes, and cares about the details? </aside>
Location: UK, remote (preferably North West England but all considered)

You’d be great for this role if any of the following describe you -
- You care about the details; you tend to be the person to correct or edit for others
- You’re methodical in your way of working; you know how to make a to-do list, prioritise tasks, and get things delivered on time
- You’re friendly and approachable; confident when speaking to new people and engaging people online and in-person (you’ve likely been part of online communities in the past)
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You’re happy to self-manage and you work well independently
- You understand the basics of safeguarding young people (desirable, not essential)
Qualifications
This is an entry level role, traditional qualifications are not necessary but experience is a must (no matter how unconventional). We don’t need you to have a degree or 10 years experience to fulfil this role. What we’d love is demonstrated experience of engaging with people, and in coordination and logistics. Maybe you’ve volunteered in a charity shop; helped at a youth club; or you’re in charge of coordinating the Sunday roast? (We once asked a candidate to evidence problem-solving for a HR role and they told us how they streamlined the salad bar in the restaurant they worked at… they got the job!)
We’re looking for someone willing and motivated to learn on the job; who is invested in the long-term success of Force of Nature as a mission-driven organisation. This role requires someone with enthusiasm and passion, who is looking to make a difference and work with a purpose.
If you’re unsure if you should apply or unsure if you meet the role description, reach out! We’d love to hear from you and talk you through it.
Why Force of Nature?
As a start-up, we work at a pretty efficient pace. That being said, the environmental sector has an issue with burn-out and we’re actively trying to challenge that (it’s a process!). Although we work remotely, we love to get together a few times a year for in-person working; strategising, delivering and socialising, so we’re looking for someone on board with that.
We think we’re pretty great, but hear it from the team first hand…
