Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Follow care plans and implement appropriate interventions and strategies
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in patient care, preferably with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic first aid procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £12.30-£13.35 per hour
