As well as the ability to offer you full time hours, Burn Brae Care can fit part time hours around childcare, university, another job etc as we can offer hours that are early mornings, evenings or weekends only if that is what you are looking for.

The shifts we are looking to hire for are:

Weekday:

(the below shifts can be altered to suit availability)

Monday - Friday 7am - 2pm
Monday - Friday 9am - 230pm
Monday - Friday 4 - 10pm (please indicate your preferred evenings)

Alternate Weekends:

7-2pm, 4-10pm (these can be altered slightly)

The ability to work alternate weekends is compulsory.

Please indicate which shifts you would be available for when applying.

You will become part of an amazing team of Carers and will be trained to a high standard so that you can provide the best care to our clients.

Hourly Rate is above the National Living Wage starting at £10.90p/h increasing each April.

Mileage is paid per mile (45p per mile in 2023)

Full PPE is provided as is lateral flow tests should they be needed.

You will receive an increased rate of pay for evening and rural area work.

There is a further increased rate for work if you are qualified.

Double time and Time and a half are paid for bank holidays.

Uniform, Lanyard, Tote Bag, Coat, Full Training and PPE provided to you at NO COST.

28 days annual leave (pro rata)

Tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal Care
  • Light household duties
  • Shopping and Prescription Collection
  • Meal Preparation
  • Enabling
  • Medication prompt
  • Moving & Handling

Experience is not essential as a full training program is offered to successful candidates.

Burn Brae Care covers the following areas (but not limited to): Prudhoe, Stocksfield, Mickley, Riding Mill, Corbridge, Ovingham, Ovington & Wylam

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-48 per week

Salary: £10.90-£12.60 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Carers do have to wear a mask or visor if it is the clients preference. We will support any carer who wishes to wear a mask for all calls.
LFT tests available to take if displaying any symptoms
