We are looking for an inspired and motivated individual with a passion for creating impact through a community of businesses. The role sits within the Community team and is responsible for working with the businesses in the UK B Corp community to build engagement and shared knowledge across our Collective Action groups.
You will be a compelling communicator and provide first line support for B Corp enquiries. In line with the B Lab UK’s strategy, you will also provide key administration to the Community team across a range of business areas, such as campaigns, data collection and reporting, engagement and impact work and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
Customer service:
- Managing the Community Team and Recertification inboxes, answering frequently asked questions, and actioning related administrative tasks
- Triaging incoming emails to relevant team members
- Championing the meeting of team Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by providing insights and reminders to colleagues
- Reporting monthly on incoming emails, analysing trends and patterns and using data to inform improvement opportunities
- Ensure all Community data is up to date and accurately inputted into Salesforce and key community spreadsheets
Meeting and Events:
- Attending virtual Working Group meetings, where B Corps share external best practices, taking minutes and sharing these with the wider B Corp community
- Assist the team with the delivery of engagement and impact activities and events, both online and in person, and help the Community team with follow up administration
Cross-Community Team:
- Working closely with the Engagement Coordinator to assist the administrative processes for sending out Welcome Plaques to new B Corps
- Assist the Engagement Coordinator to capture engaging B Corp community content from the B Hive (our internal online community platform)
- Provide administrative support to the Head of the Community in the delivery of the Ambassadors' Programme
- Assist the Engagement Coordinator with the administration of Collective Action groups and B Locals (Local B Corp community groups)
- Assisting the Community Team with ad-hoc projects and team presentation decks
Skills and Experience
Essential
- You have experience in administration or similar role, covering data entry and team support
- You excel in customer service both via email and face to face
- You have experience in inbox management
- You have great attention to detail and accuracy
- You have excellent organisational skills, are proactive and use your initiative to create improvements
- You are a strong verbal and written communicator and are able to demonstrate a professional manner in writing or remotely and face to face
- You have a creative approach to finding solutions to new challenges
- You have strong time management and prioritisation skills
- You are eligible to work in the UK (we do not hold a sponsorship licence and will not be able to provide visa sponsorship)
