Job Description
-Join our team as a Communications & PR Executive for De Beers, De Beers Jewellers and De Beers Forevermark.

As a key member of our Global Brands and Consumer Markets team, you'll work alongside the Senior Global Communications & PR Manager to execute a global PR strategy that supports our brand and drives growth in the luxury category. You'll create and deliver effective communications tools and messaging to our franchise partners and regional PR network to ensure they fully understand our vision, mission, and strategy.

Your responsibilities will be varied and exciting, from supporting new product launches and announcements, to co-ordinating VIP and influencer activities, to assisting with high-profile events and public-facing activities. You'll also have the opportunity to evaluate global communications coverage, research competitors' activities and report industry news to keep our team up-to-date.

The ideal candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) and relevant experience in Communications & PR with a strong understanding of the luxury category. You'll have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects with ease. You'll be a persuasive communicator with interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Qualifications
-Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent) experience in relevant discipline
  • Experience of working in Communications & PR, with an understanding of the luxury category
  • Up-to-date on developments across brand communications landscape
  • Ability to manage internal stakeholders to achieve objectives Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Excellent organisational skills, strong eye to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with ease
  • Ability to remain calm in a high-pressure environment and prioritise
  • Strong communication skills including excellent written and spoken English, interpersonal and presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Detailed understanding of media relations management (celebrities & event management)
  • Understanding of budgets, In Design knowledge would be ideal
  • Strong long-distance relationship management
  • Intercultural sensitivity and communication skills
  • Be a clear, concise, creative and persuasive communicator (in writing and in person) across both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work as a team, whilst also demonstrating flexibility where necessary
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative, energy and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel
