Communications Officer
Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £39,432 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Department of Management is seeking an exceptional communications professional to develop and deliver communications that tell the story of what we do.
Whether we are encouraging global debate or sharing insights from our latest research findings, communications play an integral role in our commitment to bringing about real-world impact by informing those who are motivated to better understand management practice.
The post holder will take a collaborative approach leading on the delivery of internal communications that drive engagement with key organisational objectives. The successful candidate will keep the Department of Management community informed with regular newsletters and internal bulletins. As part of an energetic team, the post holder will also contribute to enhancing the brand reputation of the Department by supporting a PR campaign and producing compelling content for our social media channels. The successful candidate will also develop content for external audiences and will seek out and produce engaging stories about our Department’s activities.
The successful applicant must possess outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to various audiences. Excellent editorial instincts, with the ability to interpret information and identify newsworthy content is essential.
