About the role
As our Communications Officer, you will workas part of the communications team, with our internal communications and media relations colleagues to develop messaging, proof points, and draft copy.
You'll use your expertise to create and plan enticing and interesting content, such as press releases, website copy, blogs, social media posts and write and publish content for internal platforms, including the intranet and Yammer.
You will be required to join an on-call rota for out-of-hours press enquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Create and curate engaging content and coordinate activity across internal and external platforms (online and offline).
· Support the team in sourcing exciting news stories from communications colleagues across the UK and Europe and drafting and editing them for Group channels.
· Produce press release content, write by-line articles for trade media publications and draft blogs for digital and social media platforms.
· Create engaging internal communication messages and stories distributed via email, published on the intranet and posted on Yammer.
· Manage a suite of communication collaterals such as corporate presentations and the content calendar, as well as keep the website content up to date.
· Manage the internal and PR photo libraries.
· Analyse and measure the performance of communication activities.
About you
You can demonstrate experience in a similar role and will be someone who thrives in an environment where you can showcase your creativity, excellent attention to detail.
As well as having a passion for copywriting, were are also looking for:
· Good interpersonal and presentation skills and confidence;
- Excellent written communication skills;
- Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure;
- Good teamwork;
- Creativity and imagination;
- A passion for all things digital;
- Confident in using tools such as Sharepoint, Canva and Camtasia;
