The Opportunity

We are looking for a communications expert to effectively articulate the company's goals. This individual will help build and protect the Netflix brand and reputation in the UK.

Based in our London office our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and a relationship builder - who can be a trusted partner and adviser to teams across multiple disciplines.

This role will be responsible for executing Netflix’s corporate storytelling and for bringing the Netflix brand to life. This role has strong cross functional interaction with the broader team and thinks about all mediums of communications. This role has a high level of visibility and impact within the business.
The Comms Manager will possess 5 years of experience in media, corporate or agency settings and have a background in the entertainment and/or media sector. The successful individual will be used to working in a fast-paced environment that requires agility, selflessness and the ability to manage multiple things at once.


You will:

  • Have a background in culture, tech, entertainment or media sector;
  • Be creative, plugged into popular culture with the ability to use our key events and tentpole moments to generate conversation, excitement and emotional connection around the Netflix brand.
  • Have in-depth experience of the UK media landscapes, have - or be capable of - quickly establishing trusted relationships with business, media and technology sector media, news media and entertainment trade press, and a deep understanding of the nuances of newsrooms;
  • Be familiar with, and enthusiastically curious about, the entertainment sector, technology, innovation and media;
  • Have excellent judgment as well as very strong writing and clear communications skills;
  • Have a global mindset, ideally with experience of working in multiple countries and/or in multicultural environments;
  • Be able to work cross-functionally and build relationships inside and outside the organisation; possess strong project management skills
  • Lead comms around our festivals, partnerships and live events.
  • Provide communications support to the Country Leadership Team and support the Senior Comms manager on all UK internal comms.
  • Be capable and confident to serve as a company spokesperson and have strong business acumen;

  • The role may require periodic travel to other European and international locations.
