The Real Estate team is responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects across multiple geographies, including UK & Switzerland, North & South Europe and part of the Middle East.
The Change and Communications function is responsible for embedding Deloitte’s Workplace strategy aligning Technology, Talent and Operations to support the firm’s Workplace needs across the UK and Switzerland. The team works closely with the business to understand the current ways of working and implement a change programme of initiatives to enable the business to work effectively in the redesigned spaces and transition to the desired strategy and way of working. The team provides the single point of contact for Change and Communications across the Service Lines, embedding into their teams to adopt new behaviors and drive cultural change where required.
The Communications Manager develops and executes all aspects of the change management strategy, reporting directly to the Head of Change and Communications for all UK and Swiss projects. The role involves developing and delivering change and communications plan to directly support the wider Real Estate Strategy. The role works alongside Workplace Strategy, Workplace Design and our client project managers and key business stakeholders. The Workplace Change and Communications manager is comfortable with the technical aspects of the project and maintains a focus on the “people” side of change.

The Communications Manager role is to support the Head of Change and Communications, on creating and delivering communications campaigns for Real Estate activity, workplace strategy and hybrid working across London and UK regional offices.
The role includes creating and delivering multi-channel campaigns for both internal and external audiences to engage our people with key Real Estate and workplace changes. Working closely with the Head of Change and Communications, this role will project manage multiple communications ‘programmes,’ liaising fluently with project stakeholder groups, and keeping the HOCC informed on progress and deliverables.

The roles core responsibilities include:
- Responsible for diagnosing communications requirements for key ‘change’ Real Estate projects – e.g. new building launches, significant building enhancements, hybrid working strategies, and creating communications and change plans accordingly.
- Responsible for creating multi-channel communications for these plans and campaigns – including communications content and asset creation for Intranet, Press Releases, Digital Screens, information ‘packs’, FAQs, Yammar content and presentations etc.
- Coordinate and participate in regular project stakeholder group meetings and drive the communications agendas with these stakeholders and delivering communications to deadline.
- Working with key internal communications and workplace services comms colleagues to deliver firm-wide and regional specific comms. Ensuring that all information and data has been validated by the responsible team / workstream.
- Updating Intranet pages and support documents with changes.
- Coordinating and briefing photographers / videographers for internal and external news stories.
- Supporting the HOCC with change management and impact analysis for new change projects, as well as listening and feedback strategies with the wider Internal communications teams.
- Ensuring key risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies are identified, flagged and/or escalated as required.
