In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of a clear and impactful communications strategy to position HSBC as a purpose-driven and responsible organisation across the spectrum of ESG
- Support the development of communications messaging and content across HSBC’s global channels
- With support, engage stakeholders across the business to seek inputs to narratives, proof points and key messages and align on their delivery
- Work in close collaboration with the wider Communications and Brand team to develop and activate strategic communications
- Advise colleagues in the function and across the matrix on communications issues related to ESG
To be successful in this role you should meet the following essential requirements:
- A strong communications strategist with a global outlook and passion for tackling complex challenges
- Excellent writing and content development skills
- Good subject matter expertise on ESG topics e.g. climate change, financial inclusion and requirements e.g. disclosures and targets
- Ability to network across the matrix and work with others to get things done
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to respond flexibly to fast-changing situations
Location for this role is London, hybrid.
