Your New Role...

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Communications Manager UK & Ireland, Warner Bros. Discovery, the Corporate Communications Manager UK & Ireland will support the delivery of the external communications strategies, campaigns and events that build Warner Bros. Discovery’s profile and presence throughout the UK & Ireland to achieve key business and commercial objectives.

At a crucial time for the business following the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery Inc, the UK & Ireland Corporate Communications function will help shape and develop a strong external profile for Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland, promoting the company's messages, policies and initiatives.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • The Corporate Communications Manager, UK & Ireland, will deliver corporate communications programmes across the core UK & Ireland business units including ad-sales, partners and affiliates, distribution, content (spanning streaming, linear networks, theatrical, gaming, social), home entertainment, consumer products and licensing.
  • The Corporate Communications Manager, UK & Ireland, will support the daily running of the UK corporate press office, both proactive and reactive, and will help to broaden Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland’s media reach and engagement.
  • The Corporate Communications Manager, UK & Ireland, will deliver communications campaigns to strengthen Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland’s reputation and relationships with key partners including, and not limited to, affiliates, industry partners, advertisers, retailers, the production community, CSR & DEI partners and key government bodies and stakeholders.
  • With London operating as the home of many Warner Bros. Discovery UK and international business units, the Corporate Communications Manager, UK & Ireland, will also help ensure coordination across the UK communications network and delivery of the DEI & CSR communications strategy across the UK & Ireland portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Previous experience in a similar communications role
  • The ability to influence and support executives and stakeholders
  • Previous experience of working to promote and protect corporate and consumer brands with external and internal audiences
