Communications & Events Officer
Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa, with the potential to with potential to progress to £39,432pa inclusive of London allowance.
This is a fixed term appointment for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal for a further 2 years.
This is a full time post (FTE 1.0); however, reduced commitment of a minimum of 28 hours (FTE 0.8) is also considered.
LSE Health is a multidisciplinary research centre with over 20 years of experience in advancing global research in health policy and health economics. The Centre is looking to recruit an outstanding LSE Health Communications & Events Officer to be delivering the day-to-day running of communications activities for the Centre. The post holder will also be responsible for the delivery of events, as well as creating content and maintaining the website, social media platforms, compiling content, writing and editing reports and coordinating the publication of the annual report. The post holder will be contributing to the smooth running of the centre by providing a high level of administrative support to the LSE Health Director, LSE Health Chair and Centre Manager.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write and copy-edit for a range of purposes, styles and audiences
- Strong proof-reading skills and attention to detail
- The ability to plan and organise own workload to deliver events and communications to a high standard, meeting deadlines
- Experience in office administration
