Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Communications and Marketing to join our Fundraising and communications team. You will lead the Marketing and Communications Strategy and play a crucial role in delivering the wider organisation strategy so that we are able to reach more children and families through our services, telehealth and communications. Ultimately enabling children and young people with brain injury and neurodisability to be heard whilst inspiring and engaging the public to support us.

Role Requirements

You will provide exceptional leadership, guidance and support to the communications and marketing team. You will lead on the delivery of high-quality integrated communications and marketing across all our channels and to all relevant audiences.

You will use our platforms skilfully to build The Children’s Trust’s brand and awareness online and offline. Positioning The Children’s Trust as a ‘go-to’ expert on the issues of acquired childhood brain injury and neurodisability and enabling children and young people’s voices to be heard.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About Us

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Boasting a beautiful 24-acre site in Surrey, we are located just outside of London, close to the M25 (accessible via Junction 8, A217 to Tadworth) and easily accessible via National Rail, by way of: Clapham Junction, Sutton, and Epsom.

As a result, we require staff to provide a valid NHS Covid Pass (or proof of Covid vaccinations or medical exemption) for all roles at Tadworth Court and in the Brain Injury Community Service. We also expect staff to have taken or be willing to take relevant immunisations required by the role to protect them against infectious diseases, (unless you are medically exempt).

Online Searches
