Job Description:
Length of term: 8 months - September 2023 - April 2024
Hybrid/Remote: This co-op opportunity is voluntarily in person, remote or hybrid. If you decide remote or hybrid, you will be required to work within the province. Remote work outside of the province will not be a possibility.

Are you a recent graduate or student working on a degree in the field of Communications, Journalism, English or related subject? Come and gain hands on experience working as part of a Corporate Communications team supporting Sun Life’s largest business group – Sun Life Canada.
We’re looking for a candidate who:
Is a collaborative, creative, problem-solver
Enjoys telling compelling stories
Understands various communications channels, including social media and how to engage an audience
Is curious and interested in learning more about Sun Life’s businesses
What will you do?
On a day to day basis, your accountabilities might include:
Capturing media impressions
Drafting and editing content
Preparing emails for distribution
Brainstorming tactics
Planning employee town halls
Developing a communications strategy for a small campaign
Every day will look a little different!
What you need to succeed?
You are proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe In Design
You are fluent in English. French is an asset
You are proactive, eager to learn and can work well with various members of a team

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
