Job description
The role of the Admissions Communications Coordinator is part of the Office of Admissions. Duties include creating and maintaining written communication with prospective students. Written communication includes, but is not limited to, email communication flow, bulk texting, website content, and social media messaging. Proficiency in the Salesforce and Target X systems with ongoing training is required. This role is responsible for regular assessment of communication needs as they relate to market trends and research.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated computer aptitude and proficiency
- Must display excellent written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with content creation and content management preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, precise, focused, and accurate
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills required
- Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient in CRM (i.e. Salesforce) preferred

Essential Functions:
- Coordinate all written communication with Admissions application cycles
- Traditional Undergraduate, Adult Degree Completion, Tozer Seminary, School of Education, Graduate Studies
- Establish strong brand and collaboration between email, text, web, and social media content
- Update pre-existing communication and perform regular maintenance as needed
- Function as master of all communication campaigns in conjunction with Dean of Enrollment Management
- Provide insights and data analysis for future promotions
- Develop, manage and run reports from Salesforce, tracking the enrollment funnel activity/statistics in relation to campaigns
- Assist Director of Marketing for social media content and messaging
- Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, etc.
- Aid in content creation for SimpsonU website
- Collaborate with SimpsonU departments for accurate and timely messaging of student’s admissions process
- Ensure that Admissions email drip campaigns are running properly and to appropriate market segments
- Track campaigns effectiveness and provide insights for proposed changes (i.e. email open rates, social media engagement)
