Job description
Purpose
The Internal Communications Manager will work with the Senior Leadership team as well as internal stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent communication which provides an effective two-way flow of information to colleagues. They will be a business lead to develop communication channels which will enable employees to connect to and access information more easily, share knowledge and experience, and ensure that business key messages are communicated and widely understood.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and improve our internal guidelines for consistent internal communications styles and processes
- Plan, edit and write all internal communications
- Work closely with the HR team to help create and successfully implement engagement activities
- Create, manage and implement key annual colleague activities such as our annual Graduation Ceremony
- Support the promotion and delivery of the Group sustainability agenda using engagement activities
- Build relationships with the internal Creative Team to ensure consistent employer branding
- Act as a champion and ambassador for the Company and the Company initiatives
- Evaluate and report on the success of campaigns and overall Company adherence to established cascade processes
- Manage the administration of our internal communications platforms including Reward Gateway and Unily
- Co-ordinate the assembly of weekly operational briefing and feedback packs
- Manage the flow of communication to Branches and Support Centre
- Act as a ‘Gatekeeper’ and advisor as to when internal activities should take place
- Create and maintain a Company Wide ‘Flight Planner’ showing all planned activities throughout the year
- Act as an Advisor to the various management teams on how best to communicate news and activities
