Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Internal Communications Manager to
oversee our organisation's internal communication efforts. As the Internal Communications
Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective communication strategies to engage and inform our employees, foster a positive work culture, and align our workforce with the organisation's goals and objectives.

You will also be responsible for;

• Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that supports the organisation's goals and objectives
• Engaging audience by translating features, benefits and values into copy that informs, educates and drives action
• Driving an increase in the volume of high quality, creative content
• Creating optimised copy for performance marketing assets such as landing pages, blogs, social posts, presentations, case studies, how to guides, sales/marketing emails, customer communications, webinar and video scripts
• Manage the organisation's intranet platform, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and relevant to employees
• Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to align communication efforts with organisational goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key employees
• Research and write award entries in a range of categories we seek recognition in.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and use data to continuously improve communication strategies
• Ensure all internal communication efforts comply with company policies and guidelines

Qualifications

What we are looking for;

We would expect the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate impeccable writing and
editorial skills with an outstanding command of the English language. You will have an aptitude to write clear content on technical topics. You will be a confident communicator who is not afraid to ask questions to develop a deeper understanding of the topics you are writing about, with an ability to think holistically and understand how design and copy work together. Ideally you will have experience in creating optimised content to contribute increased web traffic and conversions.

You should also;

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in internal communications or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and departments
• Knowledge of communication tools and platforms, including intranet, email marketing, and social media
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working in a corporate or organisational environment preferred
