Reports to: Marketing Manager
Responsible for: Marketing Assistant
Salary: £22,473 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
Location: Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office based in Newbury Town Centre with ability to work at other Corn Exchange venues across Newbury
Holiday entitlement: 20 days per annum, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 25 days, plus bank holidays, one wellbeing day and a day off for your birthday
We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our busy marketing team. From writing press releases to posting on social media, to working with photographers and film makers, you’ll work on a variety of tasks to publicise the work of the Corn Exchange. The team delivers a range of marketing activity to maximise attendance and ticket income for all events at the Corn Exchange, Learning Centre, The Base and 101 including theatre, film, dance, comedy, family shows, exhibitions and outdoor events, as well as promoting off-stage activity such as fundraising and learning and participation activities, together with the organisation as a whole.
We are looking for someone with at least one year’s marketing experience at Officer level or above and an interest in digital marketing and press liaison. Key to this role is excellent organisation, attention to detail and great written and verbal communication skills. You’ll enjoy working across teams and seeking out collaborative activity with colleagues.
Main Responsibilities
To support all areas of the marketing for the organisations
To work with the team in monitoring sales and creating ideas for maximisation
To lead on the marketing activity for the Café Bar
To oversee the production of the Learning Centre seasonal brochure
To lead on local press activity
To provide digital marketing and design support for the team
