The Finance Communications team is responsible for internal finance related announcements, promoting finance related successes within the department and across the wider business, and the upkeep of the Financial information pages on the Village. It provides communications support for the EMEA, COG and Chubb Group CFOs, primarily through blogs / vlogs and announcements, and virtual and in-person Town Halls and events.
Working with the Talent & Development and the Finance Leadership teams, the Finance Communications & Training Officer will have primary responsibility for co-ordinating training events for EMEA Finance, including informal lunch & learns and webinars hosted by internal or external parties. You will also be responsible for the content and maintenance of the Training Resources page on the Chubb intranet.
Key Responsibilities:
EMEA Finance Comms
Organise and co-ordinate all EMEA Finance Comms events (e.g. EMEA Town Halls, CFO updates, social events etc) including AV set up and on-site logistics
Liaise with Finance team leaders across EMEA to promote Finance activities and continuous improvement initiatives through blog posts, videos and podcasts for the Village
Build relationship with Europe Comms team to ensure alignment of key messages and branding
Keep Finance employees appraised of news and activities with communications tailored to reflect local language and cultures
Build individual / team profiles across the finance community to increase visibility of senior leadership team and understanding of functional roles
Draft & distribute EMEA Finance round-up on a monthly basis
Global Finance Comms
Help co-ordinate Global Finance town hall events and act as primary liaison point with local Chubb AV / support representatives (potentially in North America, APAC or LatAm)
Maintain and update the Global Finance Directory
Finance Training
Communicate with managers and finance employees to identify training needs; conduct / refresh training survey every 2 years to ensure programme remains relevant and aligns to current objectives
Work with T&D team to identify and promote relevant internal & external training (e.g. via ICAEW)
Co-ordinate logistics and manage content for both virtual and in-person training sessions including informal lunch & learns and PwC / EY hot topics webinars; collate and assess feedback via post-event surveys
Redesign Finance Training Resources Village page. Upload training materials and identify & source additional, relevant content (e.g. market / economic outlook, Swiss Re / Sigma reports, rating agency reports)
Qualifications
Skills & Experience Required:
Excellent organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills and an outgoing nature.
Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills.
PA / admin / comms / marketing experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
