We are seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Communications Manager (CCM) to join our dynamic team at ABL Group. As our CCM, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's culture, aligning our brand strategy with HR, People, and ESG objectives, and ensuring effective communication practices throughout the company.


What you will be doing.


As our Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with senior leaders, HR, ESG, and the DE&I committee, you will develop and implement communication strategies that engage and inspire our employees. By establishing a unified voice, you will bring our 'One Team' culture to life, fostering increased engagement and a sense of belonging for current and future employees.
  • Drive an employee branding strategy, and its delivery and manage against KPIs. Collaborate closely with HR to align communication initiatives with our employer branding efforts. Develop communication strategies that effectively communicate our unique employee value proposition, showcasing our organization as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure our communication efforts promote collaboration, transparency, and employee engagement, strengthening our employer brand.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, ESG and our DE&I committee to ensure communication initiatives support and reinforce DE&I objectives.
  • Support HR employee engagement initiatives: internal events, webinars, and workshops that encourage collaboration and open dialogue.
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, gather feedback, and continuously improve communication practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers in delivering effective communication to their teams, helping them reinforce the one company culture and DE&I principles.
  • Ownership of a strategy for group-wide intranet and management of content.
  • Draft and management of all internal comms incl. their delivery.
  • Regular research into the best medium for translating our company culture to current and future employees.
  • Delivery of internal newsletters and/or other mediums of internal comms i.e. video multimedia, webinars, etc.
  • Oversight of lunch and learn programme.
  • Deliver engaging social media content that conveys company culture, brand purpose, and overall brand identity, spanning all people-related news, HR and ESG
  • Content ownership of LinkedIn Life pages & ABL Group Instagram.
  • Possible line management of Jnr. internal comms assistant or coordinator
  • Own corporate video and supporting content.
  • Manage the delivery of internal comms around M&A incl. supporting comms during transitional phases
The role will be based in the London, UK and the candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK.


What we are looking for.


As a professional, you are a highly skilled and passionate communicator, adept at crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences. You excel in building relationships, thrive under tight deadlines, and possess proficiency in Microsoft applications. Your genuine passion for people fosters a positive company culture, and your strategic mindset aligns communication initiatives with our organizational goals. Your experience in developing strategies and adapting to dynamic environments is valued. In addition, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8 years experience as an internal communication specialist or a similar role, preferably in a large, multinational company.
  • Good knowledge of intranet systems.
  • Proven experience w. results in employee branding.
  • Social media content drafting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Experience working in a large multinational company is desired.
