Job description
We are currently seeking a part time receptionist to join our team here at the Amesbury Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate we are looking for will be reliable, punctual and friendly. Responsibilities will include answering the phone, greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate departments. You will also be responsible for responding to customer enquiries via the phone and email and maintaining a clean and organised reception area.

Job Overview- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Greeting visitors, contractors and employees and directing them to the appropriate departments
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Processing incoming and outgoing post/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor signing in, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Maintaining confidentiality of information in compliance with GDPR
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying
- Key holder responsibilities
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional telephone manner/customer service skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficient

Package- 12pm - 5pm
- Monday-Friday
- £11.67 per hour
- 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service
