MajorDuties
As a Health Communication Specialist you will: Develop and implement communication and marketing programs, projects, and strategies for the general public and other audiences. Apply communication theories and models to communication campaign development. Develop and manage communication projects funded extramurally. Develop, test, and disseminate science- and audience-based products, tools, and messages to different audiences in a variety of formats. Collect data from programs for the development of health communication strategies and products. Conduct audience research, collects feedback from consumers, monitors communication channel use, monitors audience demand for materials and publications. Contribute to the efficient and effective management of program resources and administrative processes. Serve as a liaison between program and other communication and marketing staff and with external stakeholders on program-specific issues. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements continue: In accordance with Executive Order 12564 of September 14, 1986, The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is A Drug-Free Federal Workplace.
