The opportunity
We are looking for an Internal Communications Intern in the UK to support its business across Northern Europe!
To support our business growth ambition, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive Marketing Intern to join our team for a 12 month-long internship. As such you will assist the Internal Communications team for Northern Europe, with a focus on people engagement and employer brand.
You will work closely with Marketing and Communications Managers across our business lines and geographies in Northern Europe, as well as sales and leadership teams, to assist with activities including brand awareness campaigns, events, PR, social media and collateral production, internal communications and people with your own defined tasks and responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing?
You’ll help us by:
Supporting the communications strategy and plan implementation
Taking ownership of internal communications to engage employees, including the Viva Engage community, colleague engagement calls and presentations, colleague events and activities
Supporting hands-on tasks in relation to event management – i.e., both virtual and face-to-face events
Supporting content creation for a variety of media, e.g., video scripts / storyboards, landing pages, colleague emails, Viva Engage posts etc
Working with our internal design agency to produce communications collateral
Writing content in English, as well as working with the wider Marketing and Communications team for content in other languages within Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Nordics region.
Flexible working – working between home and our London office

Required Capabilities:
We are looking for an individual who is able to keep their focus in a busy, multifaceted environment. You will need to be organised and able to balance multiple projects at a time. In addition, we would like you to have some of the desired capabilities below:
You have a degree or are studying for a qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or comparable training, and looking for practical communications experience.

You are curious and interested in learning more about new marketing channels and media
Experienced user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
