Role: Care Assistant - Days

Hourly Rate Days £10.55 - £10.95 per hour

Hours available: Full and Part Time Hours Available

Shift Pattern: 12 hours shifts on a 2 week rolling rota

We are a private Health Care provider looking for experienced Care Assistants to join our residential home in Horbury, Wakefield, providing the very best care for elderly residents.

Care assistants will work on a 2-week rolling rota including weekends, and flexibility is required to support the needs of our residents.

As a Care Assistant you will

  • Deliver the highest quality of personalised care to our residents in line with their individual care plans.
  • Help our residents with all aspects of day-to-day life, as well as making sure they can enjoy leisure and social activities.
  • Ensure that the overall happiness and well being of our residents by getting to know them and their families and providing them with emotional support and company.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of elderly people.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Experience of working in a care environment, ideally in a residential setting.
  • Experience of delivering hands on care.
  • Care Level 2 Diploma is desirable but not essential.
