Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in communications? We’re looking for two talented and engaging Communications and Marketing Assistants to join our team. You’ll be a vital part of the NHS Business Services Authority, helping us deliver our business strategy through targeted and effective communications.
You'll undertake a variety of diverse and exciting tasks alongside our dedicated team, contributing to innovative campaigns that matter! Your work will directly contribute to promoting NHSBSA's positive reputation as the delivery partner of choice for the health and care system.

One of the posts would be open to NHSBSA colleagues for a 12 month secondment who has a background in pensions/contact centre.

- Work primarily in the Media and Campaigns team supporting our operational areas, helping to draft responses and collate information for media enquiries, as well as helping to maintain a database of media enquiries and journalist contact information.
- Work with the relevant Media and Campaigns Officers as needed to schedule social media posts, gather content and format external stakeholder newsletters and provide support for behaviour change campaigns.
- Maintain a database of media enquiries and journalist contact information.
- Update relevant content for the Communications and Marketing Team on the intranet site.
- Create and edit videos and photographs of events to be used across all internal and external communications channels to promote the positive work of the NHSBSA and build our reputation as the delivery partner of choice for the NHS.
- Produce weekly media scanning reports for the Leadership Team and Board members and other media monitoring reports as required.
- Work with Content Designers as required to help update the website.
- Work with our Creative Designers to develop content including graphics, video, audio, podcasts for internal and external projects, campaigns and initiatives.

In this role, you are accountable for:
1. Working with the Internal Communications and Engagement team to source content for our corporate staff newsletter and our other internal communications channels.
2. Working with the relevant Media and Campaigns Officers as needed to schedule social media posts, gather content and format of internal and external stakeholder newsletters and provide support for behaviour change campaigns.
3. Provide support for exhibitions and conference including organising attendance, managing suppliers and ensuring the relevant marketing collateral is in place.
4. Maintaining campaign and customer contact information for the Marketing and Events team on a customer relationship management database.
5. Helping to maintain a database of media enquiries and journalist contact information.
6. Updating relevant content for the Communications and Marketing Team on the intranet site.
7. Creating and editing videos and photographs of events to be used across all internal and external communications channels to promote the positive work of the NHSBSA and build our reputation as the delivery partner of choice for the NHS.
