What will you be doing?
The Commodities department is looking for a Quantitative Strategist located in London, to support the Metals Trading Desk.
The candidate will be part of the commodities strategist team and will work on supporting the daily running and expansion of the Metals Trading Desk, covering both Precious and Base Metals. This is a broad role and will involve tasks related to:
Assisting with the expansion of products on offer.
Assisting with the execution of specific client-driven trade requests.
Business analysis/translating of requirements for systems enhancements.
Writing and maintenance of valuation models and the writing and maintenance of pricing/analysis tools for use by the desk.
Maintain and improve quantitative models and tools used by the desk.
Setup and testing of new products for trading.
Perform data analysis for trading desk.
Work with controllers and the model risk groups on model documentation and approval.
Work with traders and originators on deal pricing and risk management.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in a quantitative subject.
Experience in coding, preferably in C++/Python.
Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Certified Persons Regulatory Requirements:
This role is deemed as a Certified role and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
