Role Summary:
The Admin Fairy: The Agency (AFTA) Marketing Manager is the member of the Senior Team responsible for managing the how, when, and why of communicating the company’s service portfolio and values to both existing and prospective customers.
Your overarching role in the company is to ensure the attraction, retention, and growth of AFTA’s customer base to support the commercial goals of the business. As a Senior
Manager you are expected to take ownership of this activity and should expect to use this metric as the main measure of success.

This is doubly important for the Marketing Manager. The AFTA Vision and Mission should permeate through our external communications and support our growth through good service and earned trust.
Primary Duties:
Strategy: Develop a marketing strategy aligned with short and long-term business goals based on research and analysis.
Market Research: Perform competitor analysis and develop market research reports to inform customer identification and market opportunities.
Materials: Develop sales collateral in line with the value proposition and communicate it to the prospective customer base. Work with the existing customer base to improve relationships and market services. Develop and control the customer journey.
Website and Content: Weekly blog articles, guest blogs, website updates identified and completed. You will be supported in creating content.
Social Media: Review historical performance of social media efforts to inform content. Have oversight of social media activities including responses to messages, following / unfollowing and development of our social presence. Build your own awareness and keep up with trends while identifying opportunities for timely engagement or content. This is an oversight / strategic aspect. You will have support in creating content and writing articles.
SEO: Review analytics and reports to make recommendations into other areas of the marketing strategy.
Marketing Analysis: Performance analysis to iteratively identify improvements and refine strategy and drive engagement.
Measures of Success
The business plan for AFTA is well defined and ultimately, how effectively the business performs against it will be the measure of performance. Your challenge is to make AFTA excel at attracting and retaining customers.
Our three-year goal is to achieve a sustained gross turnover of £1m per year. To achieve this, we will need to continually grow and evolve our client base in response to what the market will support while identifying and capitalising on opportunities. These overarching tasks will form the basis for your measure of success.
First Year
In the first year of this role AFTA aims to embed a Marketing Manager and sow the seeds for the following years’ growth. There will be a natural push and pull between attracting customers to support the sales figures while building groundwork for the future. This requires an experienced professional who can maintain the balance and appreciate the importance of keeping their eye on the business goals and company vision.

We will be in touch with suitable candidates only after the closing date - Midday on Monday 13th February 2023. Although this position is remote, only UK candidates will be considered due to the fact that we will have face to face meetings a couple of times a year at least, possibly more once the team grows.
Salary advertised would be pro-rata for the 20 hours
