Commissioning Editor ( Part Time/ Freelance) Remote
Job description
5 to 10 hours a week
IFC Media Ltd is recruiting a Commissioning Editor to work with the Publisher to help ensure the smooth operation of the editorial process across our print publications, digital publications and online content.
Main duties will include:
- Working with the team in identifying, commissioning, editing and creating content from a range of industry experts
- Developing relationships with our industry stakeholders and experts
- Providing guidance and direction to junior team members
- Overseeing the production process of publications
- Editing and proofing print and digital content
Key Skills/Experience required:
- Proven B2B editorial experience
- Arts Based Degree
- Strong ability to multitask
- Strong proofing and subbing skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to research information quickly and efficiently and to be comfortable subbing technical content

IFC Media Ltd is now in its 17th year and is a leading publisher in covering developments across the world's specialist finance centres. Our print publications IFC Review, IFC Economic Report, IFC Caribbean and special supplements are supported by our online hub.
We are based in Belfast but the role is remote.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Salary: £20.00 per hour
