The Club
The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II* - listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiard room and extensive libraries.
The Role
We are recruiting for a Commis Waiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of the role in a similar environment and a friendly, customer-focused demeanour. We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five star service and thrives in a busy working environment where no two shifts are ever the same.
The role is a full time position working 40 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays; last orders are at 9.30pm.
The Person
We do want to have people who feel like they would like to belong to a team, we take time to get to know you and will ensure that you get all the training you need.
The most important aspect is having a can do attitude and a friendly nature and the ability to work unsupervised in a professional and mature manner without the need for work to be constantly audited.
You will need to have a good standard of spoken and written English as you will need to communicate efficiently and have some relevant bar service experience.
