The Old Hall Ely is a superb country retreat within a mile of the heart of historic Ely in Cambridgeshire. This recently renovated Jacobean manor house, with stunning views over lakes to Ely Cathedral, offers all that is best in English Country House hospitality. From sumptuous Bed & Breakfast accommodation, real food inspired by tradition, to rooms to hire for Private Events, Conferences and Weddings.
We are looking for Chefs who has a passion for delivering perfectly executed dishes, have a good knowledge and interest in food and produce and are capable of delivering dishes to the highest standard. You’ll be working as part of a strong team so there will be plenty of room to broaden your knowledge in and around the kitchen trade.
We are keen to find passionate chefs to join our fun and hardworking team and help us to continue to grow.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take care, of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Head Chef/ Sous Chef to meet the standard and the quality of food.
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the Head Chef/Sous Chef to complete the daily tasks.
- Ensure that the highest of standards of food quality, service and cleanliness are achieved.
- Ensure that production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality.
- Must have ability to follow instruction and work on your own initiative
- Must have confidence in running a section, and excellent attention to detail
- Must maintain the highest standards of hygiene and work to the EHO guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
