Purpose of the Role

Reporting into the Sales Manager, Netherlands, this is a crucial role to ensure revenue targets are met, that key business objectives are achieved, and transformation initiatives are delivered. The successful candidate will have the desire and capability to directly support sales activities and drive change. They will be customer-focused, and will want to play a central role in delivering our customer relationship management goals. They will have a talent for analytics and reporting, to help ensure we are on track with our objectives. Key Duties
- Learning the quoting and reservations process and undertaking some quoting/reservations activity, in line with commercial requirements
- Liaising with and coaching reservations & accounting teams to ensure smooth customer experience
- Monitor performance of regular business flows such as Block Space Agreements and project movements
- Support transformation requirements in areas such as distribution to ensure Netherlands (and where necessary other markets in the Benelux and Central Europe directorate) will deliver targets for Europe and the business at large
- Take ownership of online booking for the Netherlands and support the wider European region as needed, relaying development assistance to central distribution team and providing assistance to customers
- Drive effective usage of Salesforce CRM system including the Quote & Book portal according to IAGC guidelines. Supporting colleagues where necessary
- Champion and directly support the local expansion and utilisation of IAG Cargo customer loyalty programmes
- Ensure commercial adherence to IAG Cargo guidelines and management of schedule change for the Netherlands
- Assist in the onboarding of new accounts to comply with all IAG Cargo standards and conform to all local regulations
- Undertake face to face and virtual meetings with customers to support the development and revenue return from the customer portfolio
- Support billing teams where needed in the resolution of outstanding debt
- Assume role of ambassador for compliance requirements in the Netherlands
- Assist with Internal and External Audit requirements and any requests for information received from Hubs or Head Office, as well as implementation of any audit recommendations
- Work with Sales Manager Netherlands and central pricing teams to support edits to and the timely upload of market rates, promotional rates and preferential rates within the Standard Operating Procedures; assist in the communications of any key messages regarding rates or charges
- Support the Sales Manager Netherlands and Area Commercial Manager Benelux and Central Europe with ad hoc requests that are needed to deliver business results
- Support marketing with the organisation and successful delivery of any customer events relevant to IAG Cargo Netherlands
- When required assist commercial teams in other European markets with support on ad hoc projects or initiative
