As a fully SRA regulated law firm (Lawbriefs Ltd), we are going through a period of fast dynamic growth and as we increasingly partner with large brands, we are experiencing even greater demand for LawBite services. We are looking for motivated key players to join the paralegal team to help support our expert lawyers and drive our client experience to the next level.
Job Role:
We are seeking a proactive and efficient paralegal, who is experienced within commercial property and litigation. The tasks would include:
- Providing paralegal support for lawyers, specifically within Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property.
- Case handling and file management on legal matters relating to Corporate, Commercial, Disputes/Litigation, Property, IP, Software, Employment, Media and GDPR Law
- Proactively managing and monitoring own caseload of files, including quick and efficient responses to lawyers and clients
- Meeting all lawyer deadlines
- Responsible for maintaining Paralegal calendar/spreadsheet and ensuring these are monitored daily and regularly updated. Ensuring Lawyer is alerted at various points before deadlines
- Managing compliance on all paid files
Required Experience:
- Commercial Property experience is essential. (E.g. experience with Land registry and other property searches, SDLT submissions, Submitting AP1 & TR1’s, checking title deeds, liaising with search providers, contacting management companies & lenders, managing through commercial property transactions, completion statements, OS1's, checking company registration certificates, land registry requisitions)
- Commercial Litigation experience would be preferable.

- Speed and efficiency with the ability to multi-task and prioritise multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced, pressured environment
- Proactive attitude with ability to use initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership skills as this is a Team Leader position

Location: This is a remote position and will allow you to work from home. You will be provided with a laptop.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
