Job description

Currently seeking Property Managers within South Bay (South of the I-580 in East Bay, Fremont, Pleasanton, Castro Valley, or San Jose area).

Windsor Management Corporation, a growing Bay Area Commercial Property Management firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced commercial manager to join our team. Our firm currently manages approximately 165+ buildings throughout the Bay Area and we are looking to hire a seasoned professional to help us with the continued growth of Windsor. The qualified candidate must have a commercial real estate management background with a full understanding of lease language and terms. The candidate will work in a team environment with other Windsor staff and will require strong verbal and written communication skills.

Necessary Skills:

  • Possess great interpersonal skills and empathy and exhibit a high degree of professionalism and teamwork
  • Knowledge of commercial buildings, maintenance, and capital improvements
  • Ability to independently set assignment priorities and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit an understanding of building budgets, operations, and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to analyze both a long-term property Return On Investment and short-term liquidity
  • Yardi Voyager experience helpful

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Work with owners, tenants, and vendors to manage a designated portfolio of office and industrial buildings
  • Work with brokers and tenants on commercial lease documents and terms
  • Monitor property rents and collections
  • Review and report on monthly financials
  • Assist with CAM reconciliation process and review for accuracy
  • Bid and manage vendor and building contracts
  • Assess property conditions and develop strategies to obtain optimum building standards
  • Establish and manage property budgets and forecast capital expenditures
  • Manage and control property operating expenses
  • Ensure all building and property improvements are performed in accordance with building standards, ADA compliance, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
  • Visit properties on a regular basis
