About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Operations team within British Airways’ Global Revenue. From dealing with ongoing weather disruption on the day, to optimizing capacity over the next 10 days, this role really has it all! To succeed in this role, you’ll be an active problem solver with an excellent commercial understanding of the airline business, willing to take calculated risk when (most) factors are known to you. You are always on the look-out for commercial opportunities and you feel comfortable working in a high paced environment.
The Commercial Operations team is the face of Commercial, tasked with protecting our commercial and customers’ interest inside the operational window. Working in this dynamic team will see you deal with a variety of operational areas, constantly on the look-out to optimise revenue, finding creative solutions and representing Commercial in disruption. No day will ever be the same.
As the Commercial Operations Team Leader you will be accountable for delivery delivering support services that enables Revenue Management to achieve its targets via the management of schedule change, flight inventory and requests for seat availability, and to provide recommendations and commercial expertise to other Departments to achieve the best overall result for BA during normal operations and in disruption.

- Proven problem solving and analytical skills to investigate complex issues, make decisions and implement solutions
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with ability to provide input in decision making process and adapt communication style, depending on audience
